The work of the Brighton Dolphin Project could of course not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Through their involvement, it allows us to make a positive difference for our seas, beaches and marine wildlife.

We have the following opportunities available:

Discovery Centre - we would like some volunteers who can come down to our Discovery Centre inspiring the public about Sussex marine wildlife, whilst running activities including a VR experience and our beach cleans on Brighton beach.

Community Outreach - Fancy getting out and about in Sussex this summer? Why not attend outreach events and help manage our stands to promote the work of the project in Sussex.

Wildlife Trips - Is your dream job to educate people about whales and dolphins in the wild? Become a Wildlife Guide on our trips, the perfect avenue into this competitive industry.

As a way of saying thank you, all of our volunteers receive:

  • Experience of working for the World Cetacean Alliance, a global not-for-profit organisation.

  • Develop teamwork and communication skills.

  • Networking opportunities within the marine conservation industry.

  • Training and support from the World Cetacean Alliance.

  • Vouchers for Wildlife Cruises.

If you’d like to find out more about volunteering for the Brighton Dolphin Project, please do get in touch via info@brightondolphinproject.org on how you’d like to be involved.
